On the way we cover the rules of play, how to evaluate your hand, and the art of communication with a bridge partner.
We believe that by simplifying seemingly complex concepts, into a series of ten easy to follow lessons, we have ensured that every newbie has the opportunity to become a confident player, ready to join the global bridge community. However do not fret if you are feeling challenged by a lesson. Our Course Instructors are on hand to offer individual coaching in the event you feel you need further instruction on certain points.

With many years of experience both playing and teaching bridge, I, Kirsten Hartley, have dedicated much of my life to sharing the joys and intricacies of this classic card game.
My journey began as a competitive player, and taking part in numerous tournaments, which not only heightened my love for the game but also provided me with a solid foundation in the nuanced tactics and communication skills essential to becoming a good player.
Transitioning from competitor to educator, I have enjoyed immensely guiding newcomers to the game through the initial layers of the sport and on towards a rewarding proficiency.
My course, "Playbridge - Get Started", is the culmination of years of experience and a deep-seated passion for bridging the gap between beginners and the fascinating world of bridge.
I have carefully tailored the course to be welcoming, engaging, and informative, ensuring that each of my students leaves with the knowledge and confidence to continue their bridge journey.
